Tier One Holdings has entered a deal which will see Taylored Business Systems (TBS) integrated into the business systems division of Tier One Consulting.

From the 1st February 2009 TBS customers will become customers of Tier One Consulting. As part of the deal, founder of TBS Steve Taylor will be appointed as Senior Business Systems Consultant and continue to provide services to existing TBS customers.

The acquisition will provide existing TBS customers access to a broader range of expertise and services for their Information & Communication Technology (ICT) requirements. TBS customers will now have the option of a one stop shop for advice, design, implementation, and management of their business systems including server maintenance and support.

Steve Taylor believes that existing TBS customers will also benefit from higher levels of support including greater ability to service customers using remote assistance technologies employed by Tier One’s helpdesk services.

As a Microsoft Certified Partner and Small Business Specialist, Tier One also operates wholly owned subsidiary Right Choice Computing. Right Choice delivers ICT solutions and services to retail, trade, and small business. This capability offers smaller TBS customers a real quality alternative to their existing general technology support providers.

As a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of commercial experience, Steve Taylor brings significant expertise to Tier One’s Business Systems operations offering specialist skills in accounting and other business systems including CRM systems.

Managing Director Guy Rowson has confirmed that as part of the merger Tier One will also incorporate the existing TBS Sybiz and Sage partner relationships.  With a strong customer base in Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta, as well as strategic relationships with other Sage Pastel providers in Melbourne, TBS will bring additional capabilities and depth to Tier One’s Business Systems offering, expanding the solution options available to Tier One’s existing and future customers seeking a total ICT solution including mid-range accounting systems.

Being a partner of Turn Key Operations (TKO), TBS and its resources will bring additional expertise to Tier One’s consulting services in the area of business process, policies, and procedure development and management.

Whilst it is expected to be business as usual for TBS customers, as with any merger or acquisition some changes will occur. Tier One believes that the end result for customers of both TBS and Tier One will be a greater level of service value and quality.
